‘Wear underwear’ SHOCKING Pakistan’s Airline rule for cabin crew

In a rather strange development, Pakistan International Airlines, the national flag carrier, has asked its cabin crew to wear underwear. While this announcement sounds weird and strange, according to Geo News, PIA told the crew that wearing underwear is a must. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) adds that the negative image of the airline is portrayed by the inappropriate attire of the cabin crew, which ultimately leaves a bad impression on the users. Therefore, the international air carrier operated under Pakistan Aviation Government has asked its flight crews to strictly follow the new notification.
“It has been observed with great concern that several flight attendants tend to dress casually during inter-city travel, hotel stays and various visits. Such dressing leaves a bad impression on the viewer and paints a negative image not only of the individual but also of the organization,” it said in an internal instructional memorandum sent by PIA’s Managing Director (Flight Services), Aamir Bashir, reported Geo News.

Bashir asked the flight attendants to “dress properly” in formal plain clothes over “proper underwear”. “The clothing worn by men and women should be in accordance with our cultural and national morals,” the guidelines state. Grooming officials have been instructed to monitor the cabin crew “at all times” and report if there is any “deviation” from the rules, Geo News reported.
